Behind the Scenes - Winter Photoshoot

Behind the Scenes at our Photoshoot

With arms full of sequins, ribbon and wrap and the threat of storm Babet hot our heels, we packed up the car and set the satnav with crossed fingers. Our year-end Winter photoshoot has long been in our calendar, but as with all things glittery, they tend to creep up on you! This year we have rented a little cottage in Aberlour, right on the spey. Sitting in a stunning rural setting, we are making the most of the landscape and shelter beneath the trees to bring our mood boards to life!

Table Setting

With the morning surprisingly bright given the amber weather warnings in place, we trudged into the woods. Festoon lights hanging from the trees and branches above really set the scene, with tied ribbon and colourful candles instantly injecting the fun - along with giant gingerbread men!

Taking Shelter - Tartan Blanket Co and Knitwear

It wasn't all sparkles however and we know that our fantastic models - Grace and Erin - loved wrapping up in our new knitwear from Ichi (left) and Lowie (right). To top it off, we took along these fantastic blankets from TBCo, a must-have chilly weather accessory.

Wrapping Paper

Our fantastic festive tablescape was nothing without this decorative wrapping paper from Rifle Paper Co and Anna + Nina dinner candles.

Dressy

No sooner were the blankets packed before the sequins and metallics came out to play. We love these looks paired with the right accessories - sequins with luxe knitwear and molten silver paired with a refined blouse and chunky boot!

Stay tuned for the final results from the day - we certainly will be waiting with baited breath!
